New Deep Engraving Technology

New Deep Engraving Technology

"Laser2Etch technology will now be supported locally in the US.”

The Laser2Etch process allows for deep engraving into metals for those who have CO2 plotter style laser systems. Lase2Etch was developed by UK company Masteretch Services as a way to bring the benefits of chemical etching to laser engraving companies. It replaces the lengthy photographic process typically associated with chemical etching by employing a laser engravable etch resist, reducing the amount of space, time and equipment required.

Masteretch Services has entered into a new distribution agreement with Advanced Identification, Inc. the parent company of CerMark Sales, Inc.. This partnership means customers will now be able to buy Laser2Etch special resist coating directly in the US dramatically improving shipping times and costs. Advanced Identification and CerMark Sales will also provide technical and sales support of the Laser2Etch machine with further models to be added this year.

Liam Dullaghan of Masteretch says “We are thrilled to be working with Mike Stover & CerMark Sales in the USA. Mike has an exhaustive knowledge of laser technologies and is the ideal partner to help us introduce Laser2Etch in America. His background in advanced part identification & tracking also open up exciting possibilities to develop new solutions for these industries.

Mike Stover of CerMark Sales adds “The low cost Lase2Etch process is an easy way for our customers to add deep engraving into metals. We are very excited to be able to offer the Lase2Etch process and are working on increasing the capability to 3 dimensional items. "
